To all our valued guests, in response to the declaration of a pandemic and state of emergency in Victoria and in these unprecedented times we want to reach out to you and make you aware of some of the processes we are putting in place to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for our guests and staff.

The wellbeing of our guests and staff at the Jane Eliza Motor Inn is of the utmost importance therefore in response to COVID-19 we have taken the following actions to enhance your protection:

Hygiene practices - We are doing all we can to follow government guidelines and recommendations in response to the evolving situation. At this stage it is thought that COVID-19 cannot be spread through food and we continue to work to current food handling and safety guidelines, additionally:

• Hand sanitiser to be used by all guests entering our reception.
• We have increased the amount of cleaning we are doing across all areas of the motor inn.
• Rooms are thoroughly cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant and antibacterial surface and glass cleaning products.
• Keys and doors to enter the rooms are thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival.

Communication – Additional appropriate hygiene signage has been added to each room.

Our staff have been advised to act in accordance with Department of Health guidelines in regard to illness and quarantine and to seek medical clearance before returning to work.

We wish to encourage you to take responsibility for your health and well-being. If you are feeling unwell, have come into direct contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, to take appropriate measures to ensure your health and that of those around you. For the well-being of other guests and our staff, we ask you not to attend at Jane Eliza Motor Inn if you are unwell or suffering from any illness.

Flexible cancellation – we will remain flexible with our cancellation policy for guests affected by COVID-19.
